Hi! My name is Nici, and I am an experienced, deeply dedicated caregiver with a lifelong passion for supporting children and families. Having grown up as an only child, my love for children stems from a lifelong desire for large family connections. I naturally bring a warm, nurturing, and motherly energy to every child I care for, treating them with the same love, respect, and attentiveness as if they were my own. I bring a unique blend of formal early childhood experience, educational training, and ministry leadership across all age brackets: * Preschool & Educational Background: While enrolled in university, I pursued a degree in Elementary Education (completing over 60 credit hours). I also spent two full school years working professionally at a local preschool in Memphis, providing structured care and developmental support for ages 0 to 5. * Ministry & Professional Care Settings: I have spent the last two years working professionally in a local ministry childcare setting for ages 0 to 9, leading indoor/outdoor play, educational stations, meal times, and activities. Previously, I spent 3 to 4 years volunteering in a children's ministry engaging ages 4 to 13 through lessons, arts and crafts, and community events. I currently continue to serve on a biweekly basis with the toddler class. * Large Families & All Ages: I am entirely comfortable stepping into active households and have extended babysitting services to families with multiple children, including families of two, three, and four kids. Housesitting & Pet Care Expertise: In addition to childcare, I provide reliable house-sitting and pet-sitting services (which I began in summer 2026). I have successfully cared for the homes, cats, and dogs of multiple local families, and I pride myself on being deeply respectful, clean, and organized. Availability & Security: I work full-time at a local dealership, which gives me excellent, consistent availability on weekday evenings and all day on weekends for date nights, recurring sitting, housesitting, or petsitting. I have reliable transportation and am currently completing my CPR and First-Aid certification for maximum peace of mind.
