About Grace

Hello! My name is Grace, and I am 20 years old and a rising junior at Maryville College. I currently serve as the Commuter Senator in Student Government and work as an Academic Mentor, helping students develop effective study skills and succeed academically. For three years, I worked as a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu coach in Knoxville, where I taught and supervised children ranging from 4 to 15 years old. This experience helped me develop strong communication, leadership, patience, and problem solving skills while creating a safe and positive environment for children. Some of my hobbies include playing the drums, working with animals, martial arts, and hiking. I have a black Labrador retriever, a bunny, a parrot, a bearded dragon, and fish, so if you cannot tell, I am a huge animal lover. My ideal childcare hours are between 5:00 AM and 5:00 PM. I would love to work consistently with the same family because I believe building a strong relationship helps me better understand each child’s personality, routines, and individual needs. My goal is to provide dependable, engaging, and personalized care while creating a fun, safe, and supportive environment for your children.
