About Sarah
Hi there, I'm Sarah! I recently moved to Chicago and am an incoming Master of Social Work student at UChicago. Before moving, I worked as a Research Project Coordinator at Vanderbilt University and Meharry Medical College, where I coordinated a large scale research project focused on child development, caregiver-child relationships, and family well-being. I have over 10 years of experience working with children and families. Over the years I've been a nursery helper, full-time babysitter, mentor, and now have the privilege of working closely with families through child development research. I love creating fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities while building a safe, supportive environment where kids can learn, explore, and be themselves. I'm especially passionate about child development and relationships, which is what led me to pursue my MSW. I'm babysitting while in graduate school and would love the opportunity to support your family! When I'm not working or studying, I enjoy exploring Chicago's restaurants and coffee shops, practicing yoga, embroidering, trying new hobbies (currently pottery!), and spending time outdoors.
