About Glady

Hi! My name is Glady, and I am a nursing student who is passionate about caring for others. I currently work as a Patient Care Technician at Mercy Hospital, where I have had the opportunity to work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatrics. These experiences strengthened my love for caring for children and inspired my goal of becoming a pediatric or NICU nurse after nursing school. My experience with children began long before working in healthcare. I volunteered in the children's ministry at my Assembly of God church from sixth grade through high school, helping care for children, assisting with activities, and creating a fun, welcoming environment. For the past three years, I have also served in the youth ministry, mentoring and supporting older children and teenagers. These experiences taught me patience, responsibility, kindness, and how to build trusting relationships with children of all ages. I enjoy keeping children engaged through games, crafts, reading, outdoor activities, and helping with homework when needed. My goal is to provide a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel supported and parents have peace of mind. I am dependable, compassionate, CPR and BLS certified, and committed to providing the highest.
