Hi! My name is Destanie, I’m 20 years old, and I live in Hanover, Pennsylvania. I love being outside, spending time with family, being outside, and staying active. I’m currently in college, with classes starting on August 26, but I’ll still have availability to help families around my schedule, especially on weekends and during my free time. I’ve been around kids pretty much my whole life. I started helping my mom with her babysitting business when I was around 9 or 10 years old, so I learned at a young age how to help care for children, keep them entertained, prepare meals and snacks, and make sure they were always safe. I’m also the oldest of four siblings, so I’ve always helped take care of them growing up and still do. My youngest sibling is 6 and my oldest is 13, and I regularly watch them, take them to the park, play games with them, help with homework when needed, and keep them busy while my parents are away. I’ve also babysat my cousins and close family friends’ children. I genuinely love being around kids and getting to watch them learn and have fun as I’m going to college to work with kids. I’d describe myself as patient, responsible, dependable, and someone who always wants children to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I look forward to helping families who need an extra hand!
