About Sophia

Hi! My name is Sophia S and I just graduated from the University of Oregon in March with my Bachelors in Psychology and Biological Anthropology. I have 8 years of childcare experience, working in schools, afterschool programs, and summer camps teaching kids aged 3-12 dance, theatre, and singing. I’ve also worked as a childcare provider and childcare lead. I have experience babysitting kids aged 1-7 and have been payed to transport children to camp in my car. I love working with kids, getting to know their distinct personalities, and finding fun activities to do! I have been fingerprinted, received a recent TB test, completed mandated reporter training, and am CPR certified! I am passionate about working with children while being patient, kind, and compassionate and I plan on pursuing grad school in Speech Pathology in the future in hopes of working for a school district.
