I am a professional childcare provider and newborn care specialist with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, specializing in Child Development, from The Ohio State University. I have two years of private nanny experience, one year teaching in the New Albany school district, and hands-on training in infant and toddler care. I am CPR and First Aid certified, currently completing my CNA, and pursuing a career in nursing. I bring clinical-level care, developmental expertise, and genuine warmth to every family I support. My experience spans newborn through 10 years old. As a newborn care specialist, I handle feeding, burping, bottle and pump sterilization, diapering, safe sleep, consistent naps, tummy time, milestone tracking, and nursery organization. For toddlers and older children, I plan age-appropriate activities, facilitate outings, support emotional regulation, and maintain routines that help children feel secure. I am comfortable with screen-free households, screen-allowed households, and families who want a balanced approach. I keep daily logs so parents always know how naps, feeds, diapers, mood, and milestones are going. I am calm under pressure, reliable, and punctual. My background in psychology helps me understand child development, behavior, and the importance of attachment. I also bring experience supporting neurodivergent children and families, and I am affirming and patient with all communication styles. Beyond childcare, I can assist with meal prep, light housekeeping related to the children, organizing nurseries and play areas, and maintaining shared calendars. I have a booking site for easy scheduling, reviews, and a resume that outlines my training. I believe children thrive with consistency, warmth, and respect.
