About Lauren

I have a degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Ohio University and graduated with a bachelors in December 2025. I have worked in a variety of childcare and educational settings. Previously, I served as a substitute teacher in all ages and an assistant teacher at a daycare, where I supported classrooms ranging from infants and toddlers to school-age children. I also worked as a summer nanny for an infant and provided regular weekend babysitting for several families. In addition, I have gained extensive classroom experience through my teacher preparation program. I completed my full-time student teaching in a 3rd-grade classroom. My field placements have included preschool, 1st grade, 3rd grade, and 5th grade, giving me a strong foundation in child development and instructional practices across age groups. I have just accepted to be a half day pre school teacher at a brand new school in Solon called Ivybrook Academy. I am looking for a second babysitting job after my work ends around 1:00pm!
