About Dr. Uniysha

Hello! I am new to Wyndy, though a seasoned education professional, youth mentor and social-emotional expert. I have been in the field of education for 7+ years and have acquired a set of skills that help me anchor the success and wellness of children—through engagements that they enjoy! Previously, I have been a sitter to families and cared for their children frequently during the day, for after school pickup and sometimes overnight as well. My philosophy is simple. Center children and meet them where they are in their academics, extracurricular activities and social interactions, too. In other words, I use a holistic approach to look at the “whole child”, which as a child expert, I know creates comfortable and healthy relationships—making it easy for you to relax while you’re away! This perspective enables me to care for children in the best way possible, making our time together feel as close to home as possible. I am first-aid and CPR certified, a current elementary teacher and college professor and previous psychotherapist—who centers safety, education and emotional wellness, alike. I hope to partner soon!
