About Jalece

Hi! I’m Jalece, a psychology student at Lehman College with hands-on experience working with children and youth. I have experience as a summer camp counselor and group leader with NYC Parks, where I supervised children, led age-appropriate activities, encouraged positive behavior, and helped create a safe and inclusive environment. I’ve also provided childcare and supervision for elementary-aged children through my internships at Mosholu Montefiore Community Center (SYEP), including helping with activities and field trips. I’m patient, responsible, organized, and enjoy creating fun activities that keep children engaged. I understand how important it is for parents to feel comfortable and confident when someone is caring for their child. My experience with childcare, youth supervision, group leadership, and safety awareness allows me to provide dependable and supportive care while making sure children feel comfortable, included, and valued.
