About Ruby
I have spent the past six years caring for children ages 4-11. I like to focus on getting kids to explore and create, whether that be art, reading, or learning a new game. I am no stranger to caring for kids in larger families and do my best to make sure all kids are involved and having a good time under my care. I have previously worked in tutoring for elementary math and English as well as short-term child care. Some facts about me are I love languages and am conversational in French, which I studied through the international baccalaureate program. I also sing and play two instruments-I love performing and teaching music! I am currently pursuing my bachelor's at Macaulay Honors at John Jay College as a full time student. I am availability Friday through Monday with flexibility for Wednesday afternoons if needed.
