About Siri

Hello 👋🏻 My name is Siri… yes spelled just like Apple’s AI assistant, but (fun fact) I was actually born before it was even released! I am 22 years old and absolutely love working with kids. I have been babysitting on and off since I was 15 years old, and continue to work with families to this day. On top of babysitting, I have also worked with kids through a YMCA summer camp program. In other words, I am no stranger to watching kids in a group setting as well as mote individualized care. I also have previous experience working with individuals with various limitations and disabilities as a DSP, and am comfortable caring for children with similar needs. No matter what the setting is, I am passionate about helping kids grow, learn, create, and explore the world and their environments in whatever ways I can. I am a dedicated, hardworking, reliable, and honest worker who loves open communication and welcomes constructive criticism always! Outside of a work setting, I love to spend my free time playing instruments (clarinet being my main interest), listening to music, reading poetry, spending time with friends and family, and listening to people’s life stories. Truth be told, I am even still exploring my hobbies and interests while also trying to figure out my long term career goals. In the meantime however, I feel honored and privileged to be spending my time and energy doing something I love so much.
