I’ve been a nanny and babysitter for over 10 years, working with children from newborns to elementary-aged. With a background in theater, I bring a creative and energetic approach to childcare, treating my role as both a caregiver and an educator. I’m highly engaged and prioritize being present with the child, encouraging exploration and learning through play. I love planning enriching outings to parks, museums, libraries, and other spaces that foster curiosity and social development. I also value helping children build friendships and practice social skills with peers. My experience in early childhood education has shaped my teaching style, which closely aligns with Montessori principles. I focus on redirection and positive guidance, avoiding the use of the word “no” whenever possible. Coming from a Latin background, I enjoy introducing children to diverse cuisines while being mindful of any dietary restrictions. I also love incorporating age-appropriate cooking activities and am happy to teach basic Spanish if there’s interest. In addition to childcare, I take pride in keeping a clean and organized home environment. I’m always happy to help with meal prep, bottle cleaning, and general tidying up.
