About Gianna

I have been a trusted babysitter since the age of 11… you heard that right. From what started as caring for my toddler next door neighbor (and later his infant brother) to nannying for a family of three children for 5 years, I have always been a trusted child care provider in my community. I mainly provided care for my neighbors until I became a junior in high school and had my first “real” babysitting gig for two children, one in middle school the other following close behind. In my senior year of high school I started my journey with a local family. My duties for this job were getting the three children ready for school, preparing breakfast, packing lunches, and making sure they arrived to school safely via car. They later got a dog which I also cared for and was tasked to stop in mid day to walk her. When the children from this job aged out of needing a babysitter I stopped providing care, but still hold a great relationship with the family. Aside from nannying, I also have 4 years experience working part time in a private in home day care. While working here, I cared for infants and pre school age children. My most recent experiences with child care include staying overnight with two children as their mom has a job that requires traveling once every month or two. I make it my goal to make the girls the most comfortable and at ease while their mom is away and I think I get that done pretty well (the mom says they count how many sleeps away until gianna comes, I kind of feel like Santa Clause). Babysitting has gave me such great opportunities and allowed me to create amazing relationships with families in my community.
