Hi, I’m Miss. Emily! I’ve always looked for opportunities to work with children and genuinely enjoy being around them. In my full time role as an urban planner, my work is often structured and fast paced, so I really value the opportunity to spend time in a more playful, engaging environment where I can connect with kids and bring a positive, upbeat energy. I have extensive babysitting experience caring for children from newborns to middle schoolers, including school pick ups, coordinating playdates and extracurricular activities, preparing meals, helping with homework, and managing nap and bedtime routines. I’m primarily looking for occasional or part time babysitting opportunities such as date nights, after school care, or weekend help, and I’m comfortable caring for a wide range of ages and responsibilities. I’m someone kids tend to feel comfortable around pretty quickly. I’m naturally warm and attentive, and I enjoy keeping them engaged through outdoor time, crafts, and reading while adjusting my approach based on their personality. I’ve also stayed involved with children through volunteer work such as summer camps, mentoring, and tutoring, and previously worked part-time as a Spanish kindergarten teacher, which gave me hands on classroom experience. I value creating a fun, engaging environment where kids feel comfortable, cared for, and free to be themselves!
