About Karla

Hi! I’m Karla! I’ve always loved being around kids, and caring for them has been a huge part of my life. As the oldest sibling, I’ve spent years helping care for my two younger brothers, who both have autism. Growing up with them has taught me so much about patience, understanding, flexibility, and how every child has their own unique personality and needs. It’s one of the biggest reasons I fell in love with working with children. I’m currently in college at SUNY Brockport studying Early Childhood Education because becoming an elementary school teacher has been my dream for as long as I can remember. I love doing crafts, playing outside, reading books, helping with homework, having dance parties, baking treats, or just spending quality time making kids feel happy, safe, and included. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your children. My goal is to create a fun, safe, and loving environment where your kids can be themselves while giving you peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. I’ll care for your children with the same patience, kindness, and attention that I give my own family.
