About Ariel

I have several years of childcare experience caring for my siblings, cousins, nieces, and nephews from the newborn stage through age 13. Through this experience, I have become comfortable with feeding, diaper changes, bottle preparation, nap and bedtime routines, helping with homework, and planning fun, age-appropriate activities. I strive to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel comfortable and supported. In addition to caring for my family members, I worked as a camp counselor through the Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP), where I supervised children in 2nd grade, 3rd grade, 5th grade, and middle school. My responsibilities included leading games and educational activities, ensuring children’s safety, encouraging teamwork, resolving conflicts, and serving as a positive role model. These experiences have strengthened my patience, responsibility, communication, and leadership skills, making me confident in caring for children of all ages.
