Hi I’m Ruthie! I’m a caring, reliable sitter with a strong background in childcare and child development. I have several years of experience working with children ages 0–8, including time as a nanny, home visitor, and 5 years as a special education paraprofessional. Supporting children of all abilities is something I’m truly passionate about. I’m CPR, CPI, ASQ, Piccolo, and 45-hour certified, so safety and development are always my top priorities. My experience has helped me build patience, strong communication skills, and the ability to create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment. I love engaging kids in fun, age-appropriate activities while also supporting their emotional and developmental needs. I’m dependable, a fast learner, and bring a calm, positive energy into every home. I’m also comfortable with pets and always aim to make families feel at ease knowing their children are in good hands!
