About Akera

Hi! My name is Akera, and I’m an Early Childhood Education major with a minor in Psychology. I have over 3 years of experience working with children ranging from infants to school-aged children through nannying, babysitting, summer programs, mentoring, and tutoring. I’m caring, patient, reliable, and love creating a fun and nurturing environment for children. I especially enjoy planning age-appropriate activities such as arts and crafts, reading, outdoor activities, educational games, and activities that support early learning and development. Working with children is something I genuinely enjoy and is also the career path I’m pursuing. I’m comfortable with meal preparation, children’s laundry/light tidying, homework help, routines, and keeping children engaged throughout the day.
