Hi! My name is Aileen V, and I’m a 22-year-old college student who genuinely enjoys working with children. I’m currently pursuing my Associate’s Degree in General Science and expect to graduate in 2027. After completing my associate degree, I plan to transfer to Rutgers University to earn my bachelor’s degree. I have hands-on childcare experience that has been a meaningful part of my life for many years. I have a 12-year age gap with my younger sister, so I’ve had the opportunity to be involved in her care and watch her grow through many different stages of childhood. Since my parents had her later in life, I naturally took on a very active role in helping care for her. From helping with daily routines and keeping her entertained to supporting her as she grew and became more independent, I’ve experienced firsthand the patience, responsibility, and attentiveness that caring for a child requires. She’s practically like my own little kid! I understand that every child is different and has their own personality, routines, and needs. I strive to create a safe, comfortable, and positive environment where children can have fun while also feeling supported and cared for. I’m responsible, patient, dependable, and attentive, and I’m happy to help with activities, meals, homework, playtime, and maintaining a child’s normal routine. As a college student, I also understand the importance of being dependable and communicating clearly with parents. My goal is to make parents feel comfortable and confident knowing their children are in caring and responsible hands.
