About Aminata

Hello! My name is Ami and I am 21 years old. I have been working in childcare since I was 16 years old, and it has been my first and only job experience. Over the years, I have gained valuable hands-on experience caring for children of different ages, primarily working with infants through 3-year-olds. However, I also have experience working with older children ages 4 and up. Working with children is something I genuinely enjoy and have always been passionate about. I love creating a fun, safe, and nurturing environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and encouraged to learn and grow. Through my experience as a daycare teacher, I have developed strong skills in patience, communication, creativity, multitasking, and problem-solving. I am comfortable helping with daily routines, planning engaging activities, supervising playtime, and providing attentive care based on each child's individual needs. I am currently in nursing school and aspire to become a pediatric nurse, so working with children is not only something I enjoy but also closely connected to my future career goals. I believe my experience in childcare, combined with my passion for caring for others, has helped me develop many qualities that make me a responsible, dependable, patient, and caring sitter.
