About Kayir

Hi! My name is Kayir, and I’ve been caring for children for many years. My experience started at a young age by helping care for my younger siblings and family members, and I’ve continued babysitting for family friends and children in my community. During high school, I participated in a Child Development program where I spent an entire semester interning at a daycare. I worked with children on a regular basis, helped with their daily routines and activities, and gained hands-on experience in a classroom setting. I enjoyed the experience so much that the daycare offered me a position as an assistant teacher after my internship ended. I also have experience caring for twins, including children with autism. I’m comfortable working with children who may need extra patience, attention, or a different approach to communication and activities. I also do children’s hair, so I’m used to working with kids who may be nervous, energetic, or have a hard time sitting still. I’m comfortable helping with meals, getting children ready for school, keeping them on their routines, playing with them, helping with age-appropriate activities, and making sure they feel safe and cared for. I’m patient, attentive, responsible, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with children. I’ve also completed CPR and first-aid training through school. In the future, I’d love to continue working with children, whether through childcare, opening a daycare, or pursuing a career helping young people through the legal system. I look forward to getting to know your family and providing your children with a safe, positive, and caring environment!
