About Angelica

Hi! My name is Angelica, and I am currently a college student studying Birth to Kindergarten. I have experience working with and caring for children through my education, classroom experiences, and personal experience. I genuinely enjoy being around children and creating a safe, positive, and fun environment where they can feel comfortable being themselves. I am responsible, patient, dependable, and comfortable working with children of different ages and personalities. I enjoy playing games, doing crafts and activities, helping with homework, and finding ways to keep children engaged rather than simply sitting them in front of a screen. My Early Childhood Education coursework has also helped me better understand child development, behavior, and how important it is to respond to each child’s individual needs. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and am comfortable communicating with both children and families in either language. I understand how important it is for parents to feel confident about the person they are trusting with their children, so I always strive to be attentive, respectful, and reliable. I would love the opportunity to help families who need a trustworthy sitter while also continuing to gain experience working with children
