About Miasol

Hi, I'm Miasol! I'm the second eldest in a family of 4 wild, homeschooled kids who I helped care for in my childhood. Over the past 13 years, I've been hired by 20+ families to care for babies (independent sleep transition, eating solids transition, motor development, speech development, nap routines) as well as elementary age and preteen children (Nighttime routines, morning/after school care, tidying, transportation, cooking meals, and special needs). For a similar period, I've also taught music to children ages 4+. My nannying style values patience, keeping consistent boundaries for mental and physical wellbeing, and encouraging creative play (I energetically partake- Some children have kindly referred to me as Mary Poppins!). My passion is to help kids grow healthily and happily, and I have done so for over 75 in my time teaching and providing childcare. I'm a UNC Chapel Hill graduate who teaches music for Providence Day School in the afternoons, looking for a morning job! (I attended UNC Charlotte during high school so the WYNDY system uploaded my school information incorrectly, working on getting it updated!)
