About Jaslyn

I began working with children at age 15 as a daycare volunteer and later became a paid staff member, where I worked for about four years caring for children from infants through after-school age. I have experience in multiple daycare settings, including infant rooms and Pre-K classrooms. I currently work as a nanny and babysitter for several families, assisting with daily routines, supporting parents, and providing care both in family homes and my own. I focus on meeting children’s developmental needs through learning and play, incorporating Montessori-style activities, basic sign language, and life skills. I am passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn and grow. I obtained my associates degree in early childhood in 2022 and graduate in December 2026 with my bachelors in social work. In my down time I enjoy doing things such as cooking, shopping, sightseeing and caring for my dog. My passion is caring for children and making sure all of their needs are met. In the future I plan to open a daycare.
