I'm a former elementary teacher with a special education license. I'm passionate about supporting children and young adults with complex developmental and communication needs. Over the past two years, I've pursued intensive training in primitive reflex integration, spelling-based communication, and neurodevelopmental movement. This work has deepened my understanding of how movement, communication, and nervous system development intersect—and how powerful it can be when families have consistent, informed support. I'm looking for a family with a special needs child or young adult who would benefit from individualized attention and a caregiver trained in these approaches. While my current role is part-time, I'm drawn to a nanny position where I can use my specialized skills in the context of building a real relationship with your child. You'd have a trained educator who understands both day-to-day care and the neurodevelopmental practices that can support growth in communication, coordination, and confidence. This role would allow me to keep my clinical skills sharp while I develop my longer-term vision of bringing this work to more families. I'm energized by families who want more than traditional childcare—who are willing to think creatively about what their child needs and interested in approaches grounded in neurodevelopment.
