About Piper

Hi! My name is Piper, and I’m a senior at Missouri State University studying Early Childhood Education. I’ll be graduating in May 2027 and plan to become a kindergarten teacher. I have my substitute teaching certificate and hands-on experience working with children through my Early Childhood Education practicums, including experience with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarten-aged children. I’m caring, patient, dependable, and passionate about creating a safe and positive environment where children can learn, play, and feel comfortable being themselves. I love being active and involved with children rather than simply supervising them. I enjoy reading, arts and crafts, playing outside, going on walks, singing, dancing, and coming up with age-appropriate activities that match each child’s interests. I also understand that every child is different and may need different types of support, patience, and encouragement. My goal is always to build a trusting relationship with the children I care for while being respectful of each family’s routines and expectations. I have reliable transportation as well. I would love the opportunity to become someone your family can rely on and feel comfortable having care for your children.
