Hi✨🌸! My name is Erika, and I’m a caring, patient, energetic, and dependable person who genuinely enjoys being around children. I have experience caring for infants, toddlers, and young children within my family, and I’ve also helped care for my sisters through major life events, including pregnancy and medical procedures. I was involved in JROTC throughout high school and my freshman year of college, which taught me the importance of responsibility, structure, discipline, teamwork, and staying calm under pressure. I also completed a JROTC leadership camp where I received introductory CPR training. My faith in Christ is an important part of who I am and has taught me patience, compassion, kindness, and how to approach difficult situations with a calm and caring attitude. I’m also very playful and energetic! I’m naturally funny and have been told that I have a childlike personality, which helps me connect with kids and make them feel comfortable while still maintaining appropriate boundaries and responsibility. In addition to childcare, I have experience caring for dogs and cats and have lived with multiple pets. I’m comfortable helping with basic pet care when needed as part of a family’s routine. My goal is to create a safe, positive, and fun environment where children feel comfortable, cared for, and encouraged to be themselves.
