About Samantha
I am a recent graduate from Macalester College with a degree in psychology. I have over 5 years of childcare experience, which has been informed by my study of developmental and family psychology at Macalester. Although the majority of my experience is with toddlers, I have cared for children from 6 months to 12 years of age, including children on the autism spectrum. My approach is childcare is flexible, shifting to fit the personality and needs of an individual child/family. That said, much of my approach is rooted in implementing Montessori practices in the home, encouraging independence and creating an environment where children feel safe and empowered to learn and grow.
