Hi My name is Michael I am 21 years old and live in Cambridge MA. I am attending Umass Boston getting my degree in Early Childhood education. I am deeply passionate about working with children of all ages because I believe in the power of nurturing their growth, creativity, and unique potential. Whether it's guiding a toddler through their first words or supporting a teenager as they discover their strengths, I am dedicated to fostering an environment where every child feels seen, valued, and empowered. Helping children develop confidence and resilience brings me a sense of purpose, and I am constantly inspired by the joy and curiosity they bring to each day. I have had the opportunity to work with children of various age groups, which has enriched my understanding of their diverse needs and learning styles. While in Thailand, I worked with children aged 5-17, helping them develop their English language skills in a dynamic and supportive environment. Additionally, I served as a Teaching Assistant and Counselor at Summer@Carroll, where I supported students with learning disabilities, helping them build confidence and succeed in their academic and personal goals. I’ve also tutored elementary school students, providing tailored instruction to meet their unique needs and fostering a love for learning. I am a responsible and trustworthy babysitter with a strong commitment to ensuring both the safety and well-being of the children I care for. I take pride in maintaining a clean and organized environment, ensuring that the home remains tidy and free from hazards. With my knowledge of child safety, including CPR and first aid, I prioritize creating a secure space and closely monitor the children to follow all safety protocols. I value open communication and strive to maintain clear, honest dialogue with both parents and children, ensuring everyone’s needs are met and expectations are understood. Understanding the importance of child development, I engage children in age-appropriate, fun, and educational activities that encourage their physical, emotional, and intellectual growth.
