Hello! My name is Liz. I am a 25 year old first time mother who has always had a passion caretaking. I started as an adolescent babysitting in my home town. Along with working at the local campground being the head activity leader. I would lead arts and crafts, outdoor games and more. I have worked at a private daycare working with the ages 2 months to 6 years. I have worked as a behavioral technician in ABA facilities and in homes (experience with Austin and special needs). This job included manipulating behaviors through ABA training; decreasing a negative behavior and increasing positive behaviors. I have experience with “extreme” behaviors down to daily needed behaviors. Along with nonverbal children. I am a licensed EMT-B that has knowledge/training/experience treating medical/trauma emergencies with pediatrics to geriatrics. It’s an incredible feeling seeing the results of developmental progress in children. Whether it’s motor skills, social skills, or overall developmental skills. As great as the results can be I LOVE the journey. Progress is where the growth happens! The fun parts about me: I love arts and crafts, the outdoors, music and movement. I am also experience with working 1 on 1 with children or with larger groups.
