About Zoe

My previous experience involving childcare includes taking care of my niece and nephew, as well as children of friends over the past years. I have worked with children in a therapeutic foster care residential setting, where I worked up from a direct care worker to program manager in a year and a half gaining experience caring for children with specialized behavioral and educational needs. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology from Western Kentucky University with a minor in clinical and community behavioral health. I understand that effective communication is key, so I make sure to provide regular updates to families about their child's day, via their preferred method of communication. I enjoy both indoor and outdoor activities to provide engagement and entertainment, and have experience with homework tutoring for any afterschool care. I have a car, so transportation would not be an issue for providing reliable care, and I am comfortable being around pets!
