Hey everyone! 👋 My name is Shakayla, and I’m looking to connect with local families who need an experienced, reliable babysitter. I’ve been working with kids for a long time now. I started out babysitting back in high school, and I loved it so much that I ended up working as a full-time daycare teacher. Spending that time in a professional daycare setting taught me a lot about early childhood development, how to manage daily routines, and how to keep kids of all ages safe, happy, and engaged. Working in early education actually helped me figure out exactly what I wanted to do with my life. It inspired me to head back to school, so right now, I’m an undergraduate student working toward my degree to become an elementary school teacher! If your kids love being active, we’ll get along great. I’m super crafty and absolutely love the outdoors. I always try to bring that energy into babysitting—whether we're setting up a fun art project at the kitchen table, going on nature walks, or just finding creative ways to play outside. When I’m watching your little ones, my goal is always to balance my classroom experience with genuine fun, ensuring they have a safe, positive, and enriching environment to thrive in.
