About Parker

Hi! My name is Parker, and I have been working with children for many years and truly love being around them. I started babysitting when I was about 9 years old, mostly caring for younger cousins and family friends, and I’ve continued gaining childcare experience ever since. I officially began working in a daycare setting in 2021 as an assistant teacher, and later worked at a childcare center, Creche, in Manhattan, Kansas, from 09/2023 to 05/2026. I was given the opportunity to step into an Interim Lead Teacher role, which gave me even more experience with planning activities, creating routines, communicating with families, and caring for multiple children at once. I would describe myself as warm, patient, responsible, and easygoing. I’m someone who likes to be active and involved with the children I’m caring for, but I also understand the importance of giving children space to explore and become independent.
