About Keshana

Hi, My name is Keshana. I'm a fun, and loving babysitter. I have worked with children for over 19 years. I was a daycare assistant at my church from the ages 12-17. I then took over for the previous teacher until I moved away. I worked for After School Matters my freshman year and sophomore year of high school. Tutoring students in Math literacy and helping with any homework, playing games, and providing snacks for the children. I became a daycare assistant in 2013. I've cared for 4 infants and 4 toddlers daily. -Helping with breakfast, lunch, and snack time. -Daily circle time for the babies and toddlers to learn their colors, numbers, alphabet, days of the week and months in English and Spanish. -Supervised play time, movie days, backyard play in the garden, and days at the local park. -Supervised nap time for the toddlers and babies. - Weekly swim class, gymnastics, martial arts, and soft ball for the age appropriate at the local park district. -After school homework help with the school age children after school. -Field trips to the Zoo, museums, pumpkin patch, horse riding, petting zoo, sky deck, skating, candy factory, and city tours. -Yearly staycation! With all of our babies for the weekend at a cabin or hotel water park! -Weekend over night sitting for parents date nights. I love my babies, so my free time is theirs if I'm available. I wanted to help out in my community, so I am also a crossing guard for CPS. I make sure my neighborhood elementary school kids are safe crossing the busy road to school and after school. I am no longer in the daycare setting so I'm looking for baby sitting jobs in the area. Working with children has always been a passion of mine. Just a little about myself. I love crafts, crocheting, reading, building things, rug tufting, and instruments.
