Hello Parents! I am 26-years-old, I am prior service (Army: 2017-2024), married, and I am working on my Nursing degree with Chamberlain University as an online student. I want to work with children when I graduate: pediatrics, or hospice for children. But just to get some broader experience under my belt, I might aim for OB/GYN. Admittedly, I have not worked with children for very long. I have no documentation for babysitting the children of the family, but I've been doing so since February 2024. I'm usually the family babysitter. Often, I have the youngest 3 (newborn- 5), but sometimes I have all 7 of them (newborn- "tween"). I was a Field Artillery Radar Operator (13R) while in service. I hold a valid and current CPR card through American Heart Association (17 December, 2025). I am also fully vaccinated, including flu and covid-19. I only speak English. I am not bilingual, but I'm willing to make an effort if you need me to. I am married, but we have no children of our own yet. We have 2 cats. That said, I work well with pets also. I recently watched my sister-in-law's 2 dogs while she went on her honeymoon, and I've owned many pets in my life. Children are important, and they need both protection and support. You as parents are no different in my eyes. 2 birds, one stone? Request a babysitter/nanny- even if it's not me. You need to be able to rest easy knowing your children are safe and supported while you tend to other responsibilities that can't always be avoided. And of course, you do not want that at the expense of your child's/children's success. I am here to help! And I'm willing to do small chores as needed (dishes, empty trash, and such) I just might request to bring my laptop to work on schoolwork when the children/pets are not in immediate need of me (like nap times). But there's a time and a place, so I understand if you would prefer that I did not work on other things. If there is anything else you want to know about me I am happy to answer.
