About Violet
My name is Violet P and I am currently a student at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago getting my BFA. I am born and raised in NYC, primarily located in downtown manhattan and am home for the summer. I have experience working with children in a summer camp setting through my role at The Brotherhood Sister Sol, where I supervised a group of children ages 8–9 on field trips through the city and co-led arts and crafts activities. As an artist, I work across painting, drawing, and mixed media, and I enjoy supporting young people in hands-on, creative environments. I have primarily worked for family, staying at home while the parents go out and kids sleep. I am bilingual, fluent in Spanish and would be happy to teach basics if wanted.
