About Sofia
Hi! I'm Sofia, a reliable, caring, and energetic caregiver who loves working with children. I recently graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a degree in Public Health and will be starting my Master's in Public Health at UIC this fall, focusing on Maternal and Child Health. I'm fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, and I enjoy baking, crafts, outdoor activities, and finding fun ways to keep kids engaged. I'm also happy to assist with homework, meal prep, and light housekeeping. I started working with kids in 2022 as a tutor for immigrant youth ages 6-16, providing academic support in subjects such as math, science, English, and history. Since then, I've continued working with children and adolescents through tutoring, mentoring, and youth health programs, and I've loved every opportunity to support their growth and development.
