Hi! My name is Alexis, and I have over 8 years of experience working with children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers. Caring for and supporting youth has always been something I’m passionate about, and I take pride in creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and feel comfortable. For five years, I worked as a Day Camp Counselor with the Chicago Park District, where I supervised groups of children, planned engaging activities, ensured their safety, and built positive relationships with both children and their families. I also spent two years working with the Boys & Girls Club, mentoring youth, leading activities, and helping create a supportive environment that encouraged personal growth and confidence. In addition, I worked as a full-time nanny for a family with twin infants for a year. In that role, I was responsible for feeding, diaper changes, naps, playtime, maintaining routines, and providing attentive, individualized care while supporting the family’s daily needs. I have experience caring for children ranging from newborns to teenagers and understand that every child has unique needs and personalities. I’m patient, dependable, energetic, and committed to providing exceptional care while giving parents peace of mind. Whether it’s helping with homework, planning creative activities, preparing meals, or simply being a trusted caregiver, I’m dedicated to making every child feel safe, supported, and valued.
