About Genesis

Hi! My name is Genesis, and I’m a caring, dependable, and compassionate childcare professional with experience working with children, families, and individuals in mental health and social-service settings. I recently moved to Chicago and am currently pursuing my doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at Adler University. Through my professional experience, I’ve developed strong skills in communication, patience, emotional support, crisis management, and creating safe and supportive environments for children and families. I understand that every child is different, and I enjoy getting to know their individual personalities, interests, routines, and needs. I’m comfortable helping with homework, preparing meals and snacks, engaging children in age-appropriate activities, maintaining routines, and providing attentive supervision. My background in psychology also gives me a strong understanding of children's emotional and developmental needs. Most importantly, I want children to feel safe, respected, heard, and comfortable while they’re in my care. I’m dependable, responsible, and committed to providing parents with peace of mind knowing their children are being well cared for.
