About Maya

Hi! I’m Maya, and I believe childhood should be filled with curiosity, laughter, and a whole lot of feeling seen and loved. I strive to create an environment where children feel safe to be themselves while encouraging confidence, independence, kindness, and creativity through everyday moments. One of my favorite parts of caregiving is discovering what makes each child light up. Whether we’re building blanket forts, exploring nature, reading stories with silly voices, creating sensory activities, or turning ordinary afternoons into little adventures, I love making learning feel fun, engaging, and meaningful. Outside of work, I’m a Christian, a proud mom, and someone who is deeply family-oriented. You’ll often find me cheering on my son at his games and practices—he’s a dedicated athlete, and I love being his biggest supporter. In my downtime, I enjoy getting lost in a good romance or suspense novel, exploring new coffee shops, spending time outdoors, and making memories with the people I love most. Becoming a mom has given me an even deeper appreciation for the trust families place in a caregiver, and I treat every child in my care with the same patience, encouragement, and genuine love I would want for my own. A fun fact about me is that I moved across the country to pursue new opportunities and personal growth. That experience taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of building meaningful relationships, qualities I bring into every home I have the privilege of supporting. I look forward to partnering with a family that values open communication, teamwork, and creating a warm, nurturing environment where children feel loved, supported, and empowered to grow into their unique selves.
