About Samantha

My babysitting experience began when I was 13 years old. I babysat for several families in my church and community, ages ranging from 6 months to 11 years old. That experience continued throughout college where I worked for a few families with kids under 2. After college I have had three jobs all involving children. One being a babysitting job for a 1 year old, another job at the boys & girls club with middle schoolers, and a teacher’s assistant for special education high school students. I graduated college with a bachelors in sociology. It opened my eyes to just how important the family unit is and especially the development of children. I want to use my education and experience in childcare to be a positive support in the difficult task of raising children. I have found that not only my education and experience has been useful in childcare but my artistic and creative abilities. It has allowed me to connect with kids on a more engaging level without being too reliant on technology.
