About Journey

Hi! I’m Journey, a sophomore at Kennesaw State University studying Health Science with a nursing concentration. In addition to my studies, I’m also a basketball cheerleader and enjoy volunteering with my team for various community activities. As the oldest of four siblings, ranging from 2 to 9 years younger than me, I’ve had plenty of experience looking after younger kids. I’ve also babysat for neighbors and worked with children in a variety of settings. During high school, I helped host cheerleading camps for children of all ages, where I was responsible for keeping them engaged, ensuring their safety, and helping them learn new skills. Last year, I worked as a teacher’s assistant at the Berry College Elementary and Middle School, where I assisted kindergarten students with class work and homework, kept them on task, resolved conflicts, and supervised them during recess and lunch. I’m passionate about caring for kids and excited to bring my experience and energy to babysitting!
