About Kiersten

Hi! I’m Kiersten, and I’ve been working with children since I was 18. I started in a daycare before moving into a nursery, where I spent 4.5 years caring for infants and toddlers. Working with little ones has always been my favorite part of childcare, and over the years I’ve gotten to watch so many babies grow from tiny, sleepy infants into curious, busy toddlers. I’ve also spent a year nannying an infant and a 4-year-old, and regularly babysat a boy from infancy until he was a little over 3 years old. I’ve been lucky to have several long-term childcare relationships, and my last three childcare jobs lasted until I graduated college and moved out of state. I really value that kind of consistency. I’m currently vetted through Jovie, a local childcare agency, and work as a private nanny for an infant. I especially love infant care and all the little milestones that come with it. I enjoy getting down on the floor to play, singing songs, reading books, going outside, and finding simple ways to keep babies engaged and learning while still following their individual routines. I’m dependable, patient, attentive, and genuinely love what I do. I know that leaving your child with someone is a huge amount of trust, so I take that responsibility seriously. My goal is always for children to feel safe, comfortable, cared for, and excited to see me, and for parents to feel confident that their little one is in good hands.
