About Alyssa
I work at a preschool and finish my day around 1:30, so I’m ideally looking to help families with school pick-up, drop-off, or after-2pm babysitting. I enjoy being part of a child’s routine and keeping things steady and familiar. Outside of work, I collect antique nonfiction books, especially in psychology, life sciences, and old childhood education books that were used in schools before the 1920s, along with classic mystery children’s books. I also garden and really enjoy horticulture. Being outside and working with plants is something I value. I spend my Sundays at church and time with my grandmother. At home, I have two dogs and a cat. Long-term, I’m working toward becoming a biology professor.
