About Mikayla

Hi! I am a 4th year medical student at the University of Florida. I am from Atlanta, Georgia, and I completed my undergraduate degree in biology at the University of Georgia. I am finished with all of my medical school requirements, so my schedule is completely open until I begin anesthesiology residency in July. As far as babysitting experience, I babysat for neighbors and cousins of all ages throughout high school and college. I also worked at a summer camp and daycare (Atlanta Athletic Club) during college and was able to work with infants to middle school-aged children. I love working with kids, and in fact, I almost decided to pursue pediatrics as a specialty! I am CPR certified and know basic first-aid. I also have done multiple rotations in the pediatric ER, so your children are in safe hands! I have a reliable car (2011 Ford Edge), and am very pet friendly (we have a vizsla).
