About Grace

Hi! I’m Gracie, and I have years of experience caring for and working with children of all ages. I have three siblings and two younger cousins who I regularly help care for, so being responsible for kids has always been a big part of my life. A huge part of my experience comes from working in children’s theater. I started teaching theater students when I was 13, and for the past five years I’ve worked with children and teens ranging from ages 3 to 18. I’ve been trusted with supervising groups of students, teaching classes and rehearsals, keeping kids focused and on schedule, handling conflicts, communicating with parents, and making sure every child is accounted for and safe. Working in theater has also taught me how to stay calm and think quickly when unexpected situations come up, especially when I’m responsible for multiple children at once. I’m used to working with younger children who may need extra patience and attention, as well as older kids who need someone they can respect and feel comfortable around. I know how to have fun with kids while still setting boundaries and making sure rules and routines are followed. I’m also CPR certified, and I take the responsibility of caring for someone else’s child very seriously. I’m dependable, patient, attentive, and energetic, and I genuinely love working with kids. My goal is always to make sure children feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while giving parents peace of mind knowing their kids are in responsible hands.
