About Mia

Hello! I am currently a student at Santa Fe College, studying Communication Sciences and Disorders to become a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist. Taking care of children of all ages is a genuine passion of mine. I have been babysitting since the age of 13 and working in children’s church ministry in my hometown for 4 years now. In my experience, I have taken care of infants to 10-year-olds and have worked with children with special needs as well. My approach with childcare is patience, positivity, with my main focus of keeping your kids safe! Things that I do with other kids I've babysat: reading, playing inside or outside, going to the park and library, doing crafts, and helping with homework. Families I have worked with in my hometown would describe me as reliable, attentive, and easy to communicate with. I understand how important it is to build trust, and I strive to provide care that gives parents peace of mind and children a caring companion.
