About Addison

Hi! I’m Addison, and I’m so excited to meet you and your kiddos! 💗 I have a little under a year of professional childcare experience, and honestly, it was my favorite job I’ve ever had! I worked at a preschool and as an aftercare worker, where I cared for children of all ages, from newborns to pre-teens. I especially love working with newborns through 3-year-olds and have a lot of experience caring for little ones during those early, important years. I recently moved to Gainesville for school, which is why I had to leave my previous childcare job. I’m an outgoing, fun, bubbly, and caring person. I can be a little shy at first, but once I get comfortable, I really love connecting with families and getting to know everyone! Family is very important to me. I have two older sisters, and one of my sisters has a master’s degree in behavioral child care. She has taught me so much about understanding children, communicating with them, and creating a safe and supportive environment. I also had experience with childcare when I was younger through a daycare at a gym. I would love the opportunity to be a part of your family’s routine and make sure your kiddos feel safe, loved, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I truly enjoy being around children and would treat your little ones with the same patience, kindness, and care that I would want for my own family! 💕
