About Breann

Before COVID, I spent four years babysitting for local families. I worked primarily with grade-school-aged children (4-14), and have experience working with neurodivergent kids. During the pandemic, and for several years after, I tutored elementary and high school students online. I worked with elementary students to build their grammar, reading comprehension, and writing skills. I worked with high school students to assist with essay writing. Through tutoring, I discovered my passion for teaching! I’m now enrolled in college, hoping to become an English teacher. While in college, I actively volunteer with my local wildlife sanctuary to work in education outreach. I’m responsible for creating activities to teach young kids about our wildlife and how we rehabilitate them. I believe the most essential part of childcare is to build trust with the families I’m working with. It’s essential to me that parents feel safe leaving their children’s care in my hands. My utmost priority is to create a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for children to thrive in. I’m happy to prepare meals, perform housework, and I adore pets of all kinds!
